One light of a thin candle in the darkness. It is so quiet that it seems as if the whole world has stopped for a moment.

Христо Христов This candle stands in the old part of the church, where the walls are from the 17th century, roughly hewn stone. You can see the wax running down the candlestick.
Marko Savić We also have a whole candlestick filled with wax after vespers, it's hard to pull it out.
Γιώργος Λαμπρόπουλος Where and when did you take this photo?
Леся Панченко There in the old part, where the stone dates back to the 17th century, the candle is particularly visible, because the walls are almost black with time.
Maria Zielińska There, in the old part with the 17th-century stone, the wall is uneven and you can feel the traces of a chisel from centuries ago.
Jelena Pavlović The candle is so low that it has already mostly melted, and on the wall behind it you can see a thin streak of soot going straight up.
Людмила Мельник In that old brickwork from the 17th century, you can see how a candle casts a shadow on exactly one rough-hewn stone from above, as if it were slightly protruding.
Юлія Шевчук Yes, on that roughly hewn stone from above, the shadow from the candle really clearly falls, as if the stone protrudes through it.
