Martyrs Sergius and Bacchus in Syria · Julian the Presbyter & Caesarius the Deacon
The candles are burning so steadily in there. Makes the whole place feel quiet in a way that's hard to describe.
🕯 🙏 ❤ 6
Elizabeth Johnson The brickwork around the windows really stands out with those candles burning.
Marko Lukić I would like to see that picture.
Ruth Thomas The candles do stay pretty straight even when the draft comes through those old vents near the altar. The place was built in 1892 I think.
Цветанка Илиева These candles really burn evenly, hardly flickering. You can see how calm it is inside.
Emily Adams Those candles really do burn straight like that. Ruth, the 1892 vents must be the reason they hardly flicker at all.
Matthew Young The stone arches over the side chapel look even thicker in that shot. Must be from the original 1892 build.
Michał Kaczmarek These spark plugs barely vibrate at all, even with these old grills. You can clearly see how evenly they burn.
Тимофей Виноградов Yes, the candles barely move even when the door is opened.
Sophia Carter The light hits the wooden pews at the back and you can see every scratch on the varnish. Those candles really do stay dead straight.
Κατερίνα Γεωργίου The candlesticks there are 19th century bronze and keep the flame so steady. It always amazes me how little the wax melts.
