Sofía López What a peaceful sight. I think that monastery is that of Sant Pere de Rodes, in the Empordà area, where the terrain is all limestone rock.

Василий Орлов The fog there often lasts until lunchtime due to the proximity of the sea. And the rocks are really limestone, as can be clearly seen from the color in the photo.

Anthony Brown The stonework on those lower walls looks pretty old, probably 10th or 11th century Romanesque from what I can make out. The way the blocks are cut and fitted is solid.
