The forest path goes straight to a small wooden chapel. The light shines through the trees so calmly that it seems as if it is always quiet there.
Лесная тропинка уходит прямо к маленькой деревянной часовне. Свет пробивается сквозь деревья так спокойно, что кажется, будто там всегда тихо.

Людмила Мельник The path is nice and invites you to walk. Is the chapel there old?
Miloš Marković Yes, old, but strong.
Алексей Петров The chapel looks about a hundred and fifty years old, the logs are thick, hand-cut, the roof has sagged a little, but it’s holding up.
John Johnson The logs look hand-hewn, not sawn, and that corner notching is tight even after all these years. Must have taken real skill to fit them that way without nails showing.
Константин Беляев The logs looked like they had been chopped with an axe, apparently.
Ольга Лебедева And this chapel is in honor of the holy prophet Elijah, I know for sure. The logs were indeed axed, as can be seen from the footprints.
كميل خوري Where was this filmed and when? I wonder how old she is exactly.
Anne Martin I wonder if there are services there on weekends or only on patronal days? And how to get there, is there a normal road to the chapel?
Bojana Lukić Old, but it is clear that it was firmly cut down.
Александр Богданов The logs appear to have been hewn by hand, and the ax marks are clear.
Stephen Walker The axe marks on those logs are still sharp after all that time.
ალექსანდრე წიკლაური The logs there were actually hewn with an axe, as can be seen from the notches. In our area, such chapels were often erected after a drought to appease Elijah. But the road there is unpaved; after rain, a car can’t always get through.
Martin Horváth And in our church we always serve Elijah Day in the open air in July, because the people cannot fit in. And the road there is definitely difficult after the rain.
Десислава Николова Where was this filmed and when? Interesting to know for sure.
Галина Новикова Is the chapel really in honor of Elijah? I would go and see those ax marks in person.
Георгий Петров The logs are precisely handcrafted, ax marks are visible.
Мариана Иванова And in honor of Elijah, exactly? And when is there usually a service there, on weekends or only on Elijah’s Day? Is the road from the highway normal or is it only on foot?
Daniel Weber The chapel is really in honor of the holy prophet Elijah, as Olga wrote. And services there, apparently, are only on Elijah’s Day, in July. The road will probably be completely muddy after the rain.
Nicolae Gheorghiu A chapel in honor of the holy prophet Elijah, as already said. I wonder exactly how old the logs are; the clumsy marks are so clear that you can count them by the rings on a cut somewhere.
