Saw this photo online and it stuck with me. The monastery sits quiet on the hillside with that soft morning mist around it. Makes you think about starting the day in peace.

Mateo Romero I saw that this monastery is on the outskirts of Orizaba. The coffee that the monks prepare there is really good, they sell it at the entrance.
Μιχάλης Χατζής This monastery is near Orizaba, right? I remember that the monks there also grow cocoa besides coffee and sell it wholesale in small quantities. Breakfast must be nice up there.
Георги Петров Are there set times for mass there or can one go at any time? And do they let visitors in without calling in advance?
მაია ჩხეიძე I wonder where and when this photo was taken.
Николай Атанасов The building looks 17th century, with those thick stone walls and the little arched windows. Typical of the colonial monasteries there.
Eva Balážová That church is dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. As far as I know, the liturgy is usually early in the morning around five o'clock.
Елена Илиевска I noticed how the roof was covered with red tiles that were slightly bleached in the sun. It looks old, but it holds up tight.
Javier López The monks' café sounds good, but I'm more interested in whether you can go any day or if you have to let me know in advance. Does anyone know what time the morning liturgies start?
Ελένη Οικονόμου The color of the bricks on the wall on the right is quite light from the sun, as if it has faded after years. However, the fog around does not seem to bother the monks who come out early.
James Phillips The brickwork on the far left wall looks pretty worn, like the mortar has been patched a few times over the years. Makes me wonder how early they start the liturgies up there.
Alexandre Laurent The monastery is dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, is that right? Do you need a reservation to attend the morning liturgy or can you just show up at the door around 5 a.m.?
ნანა კვარაცხელია Unfortunately, those walls on the right are not visible at all in the photo, but the corner of the roof and those small wooden beams still look old, probably made in the late 18th century.
Viorica Stan Yes, the church is dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, the morning liturgy starts around five.
