The light spreads so evenly across that meadow you almost don't notice the church sitting way off in the distance. Makes the whole place feel quiet in a way that's hard to explain.

Катерина Ангеловска The church looks like it's from the 18th century, with that low wall and narrow windows. The stone on the walls is rough, not even smoothed.

Gregory Morris Yeah the church almost disappears behind that tall grass. I read the stone came from the local quarry just a couple miles up the road.
Bogdan Nistor The church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. The grass has grown so tall it's almost covering the stone foundation, you think it's going to be gone by fall.
Hannah Collins The roofline is lower than I expected for a 17th-century build. The local limestone they used always weathers to that same dull grey within twenty years.
