☦ Ravenna, San Vitale - Ravenna The Basilica of San Vitale is a late antique church in Ravenna, Italy. The sixth-century church is an important surviving example of early Byzantine art and architecture, and its mosaics in particular are among the best-studied works of Byzantine art. It is one of the eight buildings in Ravenna inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Photo: Commonists · CC BY-SA 4.0

Mihai Barbu Many thanks for the picture. That soft light from the mosaics reminds me how peaceful a place of prayer can be.
Sophia Moore The soft glow on those ancient faces makes me think how steady prayer feels across the centuries. Thanks for sharing the photo.
Markéta Veselá Thanks for the photo, those mosaics in that light look like the saints are quietly listening to what's going on in the church today.
