1) The Revelation [Apocalypsis] of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to make clear to His servants what must soon happen. And He commemorated [this] by sending through His Angel to His servant John, 2) who gave testimony to the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ about everything that he had seen. 3) Blessed is he who reads and listens to the words of this prophecy and keeps what is written in it; for the time is near. 4) John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace and peace to you from Him who is and was and is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne, 5) and from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful Witness, the firstborn of the dead and the prince of the kings of the earth, Who loved us and washed us from our sins in His Blood, 6) and made us a kingdom and priests to God and the Father To Him, to Him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. 7) Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn before Him. Hey, amen. 8) “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord God, Who is and was and is to come, Almighty. 9) I, John, your brother and partaker of the tribulation and the kingdom and the endurance of Christ Jesus, was on the island called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10) I was in the spirit on the day of the Lord, and I heard behind me a great voice like trumpets, 11) saying: “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches that are in Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” 12) And I turned to see [whose] voice was speaking to me; and turning, he saw seven golden candlesticks; 13) and, in the midst of the seven candlesticks, like the Son of Man, clothed in a robe (the long robe of the Jewish high priests and kings) and girded to the breast with a golden girdle: 14) His head and hair were as white as white wool (wool) and as snow; and His eyes are like a flame of fire; 15) and His feet were like orichalcum, like that of a fiery furnace, and His voice was like the voice of many waters, 16) And He had in His right hand seven stars, and out of His mouth came a two-edged sword; and His face, like the sun, shines in its power. 17) And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as if dead. And He laid His right hand on me, saying: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, 18) and living; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever; and I have the keys of death and hell. 19) So, write what you saw, and what is, and what must happen after this. 20) The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks [is this]: the seven stars are the Angels of the seven churches; and the seven candlesticks are the seven churches. 1) Write to the Angel of the Church of Ephesus: “Thus says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, Who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks: 2) I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and that you cannot bear the evil, and you have tempted those who call themselves apostles, but they are not, and have found that they are liars; 3) and you have patience, and have endured [much] for my name, and have not fainted. 4) But I have this against you, that you left your first love. 5) So, remember from where you fell, and do repentance, and do the former works; if not so, I will come to you and remove your candlestick from its place, unless you repent. 6) But you have [good] because you hated what the Nicolaitans did, which I also hate.” 7) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: “To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of My God.” 8) And write to the Angel of the Church of Smyrna: “Thus says the First and the Last, who was dead and lives: 9) I know your sorrow and your poverty, but you are rich; and - blasphemy from those who call themselves Jews, but they are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10) Do not be afraid of anything that you will endure. Behold, the devil will cast you from among you into prison to tempt you, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life.” 11) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: “He who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.” 12) And write to the Angel of the Pergamum Church: “Thus says He who has the two-edged sword: 13) I know where you live, where the throne of Satan is, and you keep My name, and have not denied My faith. And [even] in those days [when] Antipas [was] My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14) But I have a few things against you, for you have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to send a temptation before the children of Israel: to eat [things sacrificed to idols] and to commit fornication. 15) So you also have those who adhere to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16) Do repentance in the same way; but if not so, I will quickly come to you and fight with them with the sword of My mouth.” 17) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: “To him who overcomes I will give to eat the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone; and on the stone written a new name, which no one knows except the one who receives.” 18) And write to the angel of the Thyatira church: “Thus says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like orichalcum: 19) I know your works and your faith and your love and your service and your patience, and [that] your last works are more abundant than the first. 20) But I have a few things against you, because you allow the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and deceive My servants, to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols. 21) And I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to repent of her fornication. 22) Behold, I cast her onto a bed; and those who commit adultery with her will be in great tribulation unless they repent of their deeds. 23) And I will strike her children to death, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches the kidneys and the hearts; and I will reward each of you according to your deeds. But I say to you 24) and to the others who are in Thyatira, who do not have this teaching and who, as they said, do not know the depths of Satan, that I will not place another burden on you; 25) Hold only what you have until I come. 26) And whoever overcomes and keeps My works even to the end, I will give them authority over the Gentiles, 27) and he will rule them with a rod of iron; and as vessels of a potter/potter, i.e. the clay/ will be broken, 28) just as I received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star. 29) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” 1) And write to the Angel of the Sardinian Church: “Thus says He who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works; for you have a name that you live, and you are dead. 2) Be vigilant and affirm other things that are about to die; for I do not find your works to be completely [perfect] in the sight of My God. 3) So, keep in mind how you received and heard, and keep it, and do repentance. If you do not watch, I will come to you like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. 4) However, you have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments, and will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5) The victorious one will thus be clothed in white robes; And I will not blot out his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. 6) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” 7) And write to the Angel of the Philadelphia Church: “Thus says the Holy and True One, who has the key of David; who opens and no one shuts; shuts, and no one opens: 8) I know your works; Behold, I keep an open door before you, and no one can shut it; For you have not much strength, and you have kept My word and have not denied My name. 9) Behold, I will give those from the satanic synagogue, who say about themselves that they are Jews, but are not [such], but they lie; Behold, I will make them come and worship before your feet, and know that I have loved you. 10) Because you have kept the word of My patience, and I will keep you from the time of temptation that will come across the whole world to tempt those who dwell on the earth. 11) Behold, I am coming quickly; keep what you have, so that no one receives your crown. 12) Him who overcomes I will make him a pillar in the church of My God, and he will go out no more; And I will write on it the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. 13) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” 14) And write to the Angel of the Laodicean church: “Thus says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, who is the beginning of the creation of God. 15) I know your affairs; that you are neither cold nor hot; Oh, that you were cold or hot! 16) But because you are warm, and neither hot nor cold, I will begin to vomit you out of My mouth. 17) For you say: “For I am rich, I have become rich, and I have need of nothing”; but you don’t know that you are unhappy, and pitiful, and poor, and blind, and naked. 18) I exhort you to buy from Me gold purified by fire so that you may become rich, and white clothing so that you may be clothed, and so that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed, and anoint your eyes with eye salve so that you can see. 19) I rebuke and punish those I love. So, be zealous and do repentance. 20) Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hears My voice and opens the door for Me, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21) To him who overcomes I will give to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. 22) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” 1) After this I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet, spoke to me, saying: “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.” 2) And immediately I was in the spirit; and behold, a throne [sedes] was set up in heaven, and He sat on the throne. 3) And this One who sat was like the appearance of jasper and sardis; and there was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald. 4) And around the throne were twenty-four seats, and on the thrones [super thronos] sat twenty-four elders, clothed in white robes, and on their heads were crowns of gold. 5) And from the throne came lightning, and voices, and thunder; and seven lamps burned before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. 6) And in front of the throne it was like a sea of ​​glass, like crystal; and in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind. 7) And the first animal is like a lion, and the second animal is like a calf, and the third animal has the face of a man, and the fourth animal is like a flying eagle. 8) And each of the four animals had six wings: both around and inside they were full of eyes; and have no rest day or night, crying out: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.” 9) And when these animals give glory and honor and blessing to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10) twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast down their crowns before the throne, saying: 11) “Thou art worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power: for Thou hast created all things, and all for the sake of It was Your will and it was created.” 1) And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne, a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals. 2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice: “Who is worthy to open this book and to open its seals?” 3) And no one could, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, open the book, nor look into it. 4) And I cried a lot because no one was found worthy to open and read this book, nor to look into it. 5) And one of the elders said to me: “Don’t cry; Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome [to] open the book and open its seven seals.” 6) And I saw: and, behold, in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7) And He came and took the book from the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. 8) And when he opened the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9) And they sing a new song, saying: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to take the book and open its seals, because thou wast slain, and by thy blood hath redeemed us to God from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, 10) and hath made us a kingdom and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth." 11) And I saw and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and animals, and elders; and their number was thousands of thousands, 12) who spoke with a loud voice: “The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. 13) And every creature that is in heaven and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and everything that is in them, I heard everything say: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” 14) And the four living creatures said: “Amen.” And the twenty-four elders fell on their faces and worshiped Him who lives forever. 1) And I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with the voice of thunder, “Come and see.” 2) And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering, to overcome. 3) And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second animal saying, “Come and see.” 4) And another horse came out, a red one; and to him who sat on it was given that he should take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and a great sword was given to him. 5) And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see.” And, behold, a black horse, and a rider on it, having scales in his hand. 6) And I heard as if a voice among the four living creatures saying: “Two pounds of wheat for a denarius, and three times two pounds of barley for a denarius. May you not harm the oil and the wine.” 7) And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” 8) And, behold, a pale horse, and a rider on it, his name was “Death”; and hell followed him; and power was given to him over the four parts of the earth - to kill with the sword, with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. 9) And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the word of God and for the testimony that they had. 10) And they cried out loudly, saying: “How long, O Lord, Holy and True, do you not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11) And white vestments were given to each of them, and it was said to them that they should rest still for a little while, until their fellow workers and their brothers were replenished, who would be killed like them. 12) And I saw when He opened the sixth seal: and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as Cilician hair shirt, and the whole moon became like blood. 13) And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when it is shaken by a strong wind. 14) And the sky departed like a scroll being rolled up; and every mountain and island were removed from their places. 15) And the kings of the earth, and the nobles, and the tribunes, and the rich, and the mighty, and every slave and free man, hid themselves in caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16) and said to the mountains and rocks: “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb; 17) For the great day of His wrath has come, and who can stand?” 1) And after this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that the wind would not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2) And I saw another angel rising from the rising of the sun, having the sign of the living God. And he cried out loudly to the four Angels, to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea, 3) saying: “Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we mark the servants of our God on their foreheads.” 4) And I heard the number of those who were marked: those who were marked were one hundred and forty-four thousand from all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5) Of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were noted; from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were noted; from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were noted; 6) from the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were marked; of the tribe of Naphtali were marked twelve thousand; from the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were noted; 7) from the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were noted; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were marked; from the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were noted; 8) from the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were marked; of the tribe of Joseph were marked twelve thousand; from the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were noted. 9) After this I saw a great crowd, which no one could number, from all peoples, tribes, nationalities, and languages, standing before the throne and in the sight of the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and with palm [branches] in their hands. 10) And they cried out loudly, saying: “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” 11) And all the Angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces in front of the throne, and worshiped God, 12) saying: “Amen! Blessing and glory [claritas (lit. “clarity”)], and wisdom, and thanksgiving, honor and strength, and strength to our God forever and ever! Amen". 13) And one of the elders answered and asked me: “These dressed in white robes, who are they and where did they come from?” 14) And I said to him: “My lord, you know.” And he said to me: “These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation; and they washed their garments and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15) For this reason they are now before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His church, and He who sits on the throne will dwell over them. 16) They will neither hunger nor thirst any more; and the sun will not fall on them / the sun will not scorch them /, and no heat: 17) for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them and lead them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” 1) And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for what seemed like half an hour. 2) And I saw seven Angels standing before the sight of God; and seven trumpets were given to them. 3) And another angel came and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and a great deal of incense was given to him, so that he would present it, from the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar, which is before the throne of God. 4) And the smoke of incense ascended from the prayers of the saints from the hand of an Angel before God. 5) And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the ground: and there were thunders, and voices, and lightning, and a great earthquake. 6) And the seven Angels, who had seven trumpets, prepared to sound. 7) And the first angel sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and fell to the earth; and the third part of the earth was burned, and the third part of the trees was burned, and all the green grass was burned. 8) And the second angel sounded, and as if a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood, 9) and the third part of those creatures that had life in the sea died, and the third part of the ships perished. 10) And the third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11) The name of this star is called “Wormwood”; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many of the people died from the waters, for they became bitter. 12) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun and the third part of the moon and the third part of the stars were struck, so that the third part of them was darkened, and the third part of the day was not light - and like the night. 13) And I saw and heard the voice of one eagle flying in the middle of the sky, saying in a loud voice: “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on earth from the remaining voices of the three angels who will sound the trumpet!” 1) And the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven to earth, and the key to the well of the deep was given to it. 2) And she opened the deep well, and smoke rose from the deep well, like smoke from a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the well. 3) And out of the smoke from the well came locusts onto the earth, and they were given the same power as the scorpions of the earth. 4) And she was commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any greenery, or any tree, but only to people who do not have the sign of God on their foreheads. 5) And it was given to her not to kill them, but only to torment them for five months; and the torment from it is like the torment from a scorpion when it stings a person. 6) And in those days people will seek death and will not find it; and they will wish to die, but death will flee from them. 7) In appearance, the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on her heads were crowns like gold, and her faces were like the faces of men; 8) and her hair is like the hair of women. And her teeth were like those of lions. 9) And she had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of her wings was like the noise of chariots when many horses run to battle; 10) And she had tails like scorpions and stings, and in her tails was her power to harm people for five months. 11) And she had as king over her the angel of the abyss; whose name in Hebrew was Abaddon, in Greek Apollyon, and in Latin was called Exterminance /destroyer/. 12) One grief has passed; and, behold, there come two more griefs after this. 13) And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard one voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is in the sight of God, 14) saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet: “Release the four angels bound by the great river Euphrates.” 15) And four angels were released, prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, in order to kill the third part of the people. 16) The number of the cavalry army was twenty thousand times ten thousand /200,000,000/. And I heard his number. 17) And so I saw in a vision horses and their riders, who had on them breastplates of fire, and hyacinth, and sulfur; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, and smoke, and brimstone. 18) And by these three plagues the third part of the people were killed: by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone that came out of their mouths. 19) For the strength of the horses was in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes having heads, and with them they did harm. 20) And other people who were not killed by these plagues and did not repent for the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons and idols of gold, and silver, and copper, and stone, and wood, which cannot see, nor hear, nor walk. 21) And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their poisonings, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. 1) And I saw another mighty angel descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and on his head was a rainbow, and his face was like the sun, and his feet were like pillars of fire, 2) and he had an open book in his hand; and he placed his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, 3) and cried out with a great voice, as when a lion roars. And when he exclaimed, then the seven thunders spoke with their voices. 4) And when the seven thunders spoke with their voices, I wanted to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: “Seal what the seven thunders said, and do not write it.” 5) And the angel, whom I saw standing on the sea and on the earth, raised his hand to heaven 6) and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it: “Time will be no more; 7) But in the days when the seventh angel proclaims, when he begins to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, as He preached through His servants the prophets.” 8) And I heard a voice from heaven again speaking to me and saying: “Go and take the open book from the hand of the Angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.” 9) And I went to the Angel, telling him to give me the book. And he said to me: “Take the book and eat it; and she will make your belly bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.” 10) And I took the book from the hand of the Angel and ate it; and she was sweet in my mouth, like honey; and when I ate it, my belly became bitter. 11) And he said to me: “You must prophesy again to tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and many kings.” 1) And a reed like a rod was given to me, and it was said to me: “Arise and measure the church of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it. 2) Throw aside the courtyard outside the temple and do not measure it, because it was given to the pagans: and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. 3) And I will give to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy for a thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. 4) These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the sight of the Lord of the earth. 5) And if anyone wants to harm them, fire will come out of their mouth and devour their enemies; and if anyone wants to offend them, he must be killed. 6) They have power to shut the heavens so that no rain falls on the earth in the days of their prophecy, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague whenever they want. 7) And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the abyss will make war against them and defeat them and kill them. 8) And their bodies will lie in the streets of the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. 9) And among the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations they will see their corpses for three and a half days, and they will not allow their corpses to be put in tombs. 10) And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice at this and be glad, and will send gifts to each other, because these two prophets tormented them who dwell on the earth. 11) And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them. And they both stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them. 12) And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them: “Come up here.” And they ascended to heaven on a cloud; and their enemies saw them. 13) And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand names of men were killed in the earthquake; and the rest were thrown into fear and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14) The second grief has passed; and, behold, the third grief is coming soon. 15) And the seventh angel sounded, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying: “The kingdom of this world has become [the kingdom] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.” 16) And the twenty-four elders, sitting in their seats before the sight of God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: 17) “We thank Thee, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and who was, and who is to come, that Thou hast received Thy great power and reigned. 18) And the Gentiles were angry; and Your wrath has come and the time to judge the dead, and to give reward to Your servants, the prophets and saints, and to those who fear Your name, small and great, and to destroy those who corrupted the earth.” 19) And the church of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His church; and there came lightning, and voices, and thunder, and an earthquake, and great hail. 1) And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2) And she, being in the womb, screamed, giving birth, and suffered when she gave birth. 3) And another sign appeared in heaven: and, behold, a great bright red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. 4) And his tail carried away a third of the stars of heaven, and threw them to the earth.
