I read your letter, and I don’t feel like writing about it in detail, or even anything special, I’ll just say; In addition to other paternal teachings about patience and humility that teach, it would not hurt to read the book of Stavrofil, or the royal way of the cross, in which the bearing of the cross is very well expressed; for the sake of fear, hope and love; then pray in the cross, rejoice in the cross; give thanks for the cross, thank not only God, but also those who bear the cross; boast about the cross and so on, which strengthens one in enduring sorrows, whatever they may be. I can’t say anything about O’s niece; in fact, you know better what to do. I wish peace and harmony in the Lord to all your sisters in Christ, and I abide your unworthy pilgrim, the great sinner I.M.
