I have now received your venerable letter, written on December 23rd; thank you for congratulating me on the holiday, and I mutually congratulate you on the upcoming new year; I wish you to meet it peacefully and calmly; and so that the cloud that finds itself on the horizon of your monastery passes safely, without damaging the moral growth of your God-loving flock. I received writings from many of your sisters, but I am now unable to answer anyone; Only I can barely manage to write a few lines to you, seeing your sorrow in the X–th effort to enter your monastery. However, we reason all this according to human intelligence; or maybe our good shepherd, Jesus Christ, having come to seek the lost sheep, wants to take it into His frame and bring it to His Father; what happens next will be seen from the consequences; if it is impossible to reverse it, then, apparently, one must obey the authorities; it is clear that the will of God is here, and if not for creation, then so that you are more vigilant over other weak ones, and pray to the Lord about this, may He Himself preserve your abode from all the snares and snares of the enemy and may He give you the understanding to shepherd His verbal flock in spiritual pastures. V.N. returns to your monastery with joy; she was quite bored with being in the world; however, she was there not of her own free will, but due to their circumstances: it was impossible to send her before. I hope that you will forgive her with your usual motherly love. Q. I didn’t offer anything special, but the same thing I offer to others - fatherly teachings; and if she received consolation, it was not from me, but through her faith God Himself gave it to her.
