Now we have before you our most humble request: a noble maiden of 18 years old has declared her desire to enter a monastery, and has had it for more than six months; although there were obstacles from relatives, but, with the help of God, they were destroyed. We do not find a place for such a chick as in your monastery, under your maternal cover. We had the intention of no longer bothering you with such requests, but what should we do, we are afraid to give an answer to God for her when she is upset in life; then we ask you to accept her and place her for now, in our opinion, at least with N. N. She bows at your feet and asks you to allow her to come to you with her mother R. Thank God that your church has been decorated; but what is missing is not our sinful visit, but the much more important visit of God’s grace - the consecration of the chapels; then joy will be accomplished by the sending of grace. You will take care of the living churches of the sisters entrusted to you, so that they will be preserved in purity by fulfilling the life-giving commandments of Christ. Asking for you and your sisters the peace and blessing of God, asking for your holy prayers, we remain your unworthy pilgrims, the many sinners I.L. and I.M. October 28, 1839.
