I am sincerely glad that you were honored to be at the relics of the holy saint of God Mitrofan and reverently bow to him; may he be an intercessor with the Lord God for your salvation, and that after explaining his conscience to me, many sinners and weak-minded, you left me calm: it was the Lord who comforted you, according to your faith, and not from me; Bring Him heartfelt gratitude for this. Well, upon your arrival, you again found many shortcomings in yourself, and impatience with sorrows, this cannot be surprising: here you were not on the battlefield, but as if on vacation. When you have entered into a feat, into the ranks, into battle with the enemy, then your weakness appears to you, and you reluctantly accept your stay on Calvary. Having recognized your weakness in everything, humble yourself before God and people, and, remembering your sins, accept with gratitude the sorrows sent to you to cleanse them; and when the will of God is done, He will also grant an abundance from them. I congratulate you on the upcoming all-joyful holiday of the Resurrection of Christ; May the most merciful Lord comfort you and allow you to celebrate peacefully and joyfully. Entrusting you to the protection of God, I ask that the peace of God may rest upon you, and may He protect you from all slander and the machinations of the enemy, and may all your sins be forgiven, and I, a great sinner, send my forgiveness and blessing and remain your zealous worshiper, the great sinner I.
