O Christ Jesus, venerable sister and daughter, mother of A. I congratulate you on celebrating the highly solemn holiday of Christ’s Resurrection; May the resurrected Jesus comfort you, just as he then said to Magdalene and the other women who sought Him: Rejoice! With this word they also received spiritual consolation, due to the previously great sorrows about the death and separation of the beloved Teacher Jesus, and about the persecution of the faithful and many others; for all creation sympathized with the suffering of our sweetest Jesus. Comfort those who wish to receive a word of consolation from you in their spiritual sorrows; even if they themselves are weak. Ask God to send His word, according to faith and for the benefit of those who require it, and do not reject the sad soul. We are all subject to change, and have a need for reasoning and encouragement from others. If we shy away through our unworthiness, then remember that God works even in the unworthy, even in the dumb. Only we observe, but not for the sake of vanity, but by reproaching ourselves and despising ourselves, and asking God, so that there may be some benefit for the sake of our neighbors, and through their prayers the Lord God will have mercy on me too. So, may the Lord admonish you to bear the infirmities of the weak, and may the Lord be merciful to our infirmities. Let us console, and we ourselves will receive consolation; I ask you to pray for me, who is unworthy, so that I will not be condemned for having done an insignificant good. Unworthy I.M.
