All things came into being through Him, and without Him nothing came into being that was made (John 1:3). – By Him were all things created, both in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible ( Col. 1:16 ) – By faith we understand that the worlds were created by the word of God, so that from what is invisible was made what is visible ( Heb. 11:3 ). My Father is working until now, and I am working (John 5:17). – All things depend on Him (Col.1:17). – In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ... chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love, having predestined us as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will (Eph. 1:3-5).
