Whether you write or are silent, I positively know that you love us. You could not remain unknown, being such a zealous supporter of ours. Everyone says this about you, and many of those who come to us tell us about the fervor and sincerity of your love. Nevertheless, we would also be pleased to constantly receive letters from your nobility with news about your health, as well as about the health of my empress, your noble wife, and your entire household, which is the subject of our zealous well-wishes. Although the fulfillment of our request is difficult at the present time due to the winter season and the rarity of travel to us, but, knowing our desire, do not make it a labor, my most honest lord, to write to us as much as possible and notify us of what we are asking for. We consider your health and prosperity to be our own treasure, happiness and well-being. Do not leave us in the dark regarding the subject that constitutes our well-being, and for our ardent love for you, give us consolation in the news we ask for, which can greatly encourage us.
