You know yourself, my most honest and reverent master, how we have always been disposed to your reverence and with what constancy we have always maintained our union with you according to the law of love, marveling at your good disposition and amazed at the beauty of your virtuous life, with which you bind everyone to you. That is why, despite the great distance, we always remember you and never, no matter what desert we are imprisoned in, we cannot forget about your love; but we constantly imagine and imagine you with the eyes of love, as if in our presence and next to us, or better, we constantly see you and glorify your reverence before everyone. We ask you to always remember us, to preserve for us with all your strength and now the love that you showed to us from the very beginning, to diligently pray for our humility, to write to us whenever possible, and to notify us about your health, so that, living in the desert, we can gain great consolation for ourselves in the thought that, despite such a long distance, we benefit from the assistance of your prayers.
