Blessed, three times, a thousand times blessed are you because in the midst of such terrible adversity, in the midst of such a terrible shock of affairs, you show such magnanimous generosity to those in need. The greatness of your love for humanity has not escaped us, according to which, having become a common refuge for everyone, you protect the orphans, console widows, help their poverty, eliminate poverty, not even letting them feel their cramped situation and replacing everyone and everything with it, according to which you feed the whole society, supplying it with bread, wine, oil and everything else. May God reward you both in this life and in the next century for such generosity, zeal, love of poverty, for such generosity, readiness and sincerity in love: you flaunt and abound in all these virtues, preparing for yourself through them the greatest rewards in the next century.
