Position is the state of an object in relation to another object. So, we talk about the position of the body, meaning its specific state, such as: reclining, sitting, standing. There are three types of position: standing, sitting, reclining. When a person is in an upright position, then standing occurs: when he partly lies, partly stands, then sitting; when he lies down completely, then reclining takes place. Position does not mean either an object or a place, but expresses the very position of the object in relation to the place. Of the objects that are in a certain position, some by their nature are in this position, like the elements - in their characteristic places - for example, earth, water, air, fire, etc. There is another division of objects based on their position. According to this division, some objects are motionless, for example, the earth; others are mobile, for example, celestial bodies. In addition, some objects are potentially in a certain position, for example, creatures that can move from place to place; others are in a certain position actual when they are actually placed somewhere.
