Gen.45:9–10. “Therefore come to me, do not delay; you will live in the Arabian land of Geshen." The word "Arabian" is added here: it is not found in the Hebrew books. Hence the erroneous opinion spread that the land of Gessen is located in Arabia. Also, if, as in our books, the last letter in the word m is gesem (גשם), which I don’t like at all, then it means the land where it rains, because gesem is translated as “rain.” Gen.45:17. “And Pharaoh said to Joseph: “Say to your brothers, do this: load your wagons and go into the land of Canaan.” Instead of “carts,” which is translated by the Seventy Interpreters and Theodotion as τὰ πορεῖα, all the others translated “cattle.” Gen.45:21. “And he gave them food for the journey.” The word seda (צֵדָ ֖ה), which is here unanimously translated as ἐπισιτισμός, that is, “food supplies” or “bag of provisions,” is also found in the Psalter. Namely, where in our books they read: “By blessing I will bless his widow” (Ps. 131:15) (although in most books instead of “widow”, that is, χήρα, some read θήρα (Greek: “hunt, prey.” - Transl. note)), in the Hebrew text there is seda, that is, “His food I Blessing I will bless." In addition, θήρα may mean hunting rather than food, although the Egyptians have the custom of calling grain by the word θήρα, or now corruptly - athera.
