The archdeacon, having approached, orders him to come three times before the saint: he commands him to come on Wednesday and Friday, and so follow him. When he comes before the saint on Friday, then, after questioning and answering, the saint blesses him and sends him away in peace, and sends with him to his house a designated soldier and orders him to test his clan and tribe and the neighbor there who is close to those who are about him; Is the son good for the parent and the lawful, the father and the mother?
