Praise the name of the Lord, glorify the name of the Ever-Virgin Mary, resort to Her most holy majesty with prayers and supplications, She will arouse in you a good will and the lusts of sin will not overcome you; Those who always think about Her and rejoice with thanksgiving about Her mercies will find heavenly sweetness and peace in their soul and heart. Oh, sinners, let us sigh to Her with our inner feelings and prayers. We are all given both a pious life and a blessed death. Confess to the Lord that He is good and that He shares His goodness with those who seek it through the intercession of the Queen of Heaven. Oh, Lady! remember us in our humility and protect us from the hellish Pharaoh and his hostile power with Your strong hand and high arm. Let us sing to the Lord, so that we may be glorified; Let us sing and sing thanksgiving to You, O most powerful Lady, as having been delivered and delivered by You from the evil ones, you carry an invincible power in Your hands. Let us confess to You, Lady, with all my heart, that through You I have gained the mercy and generosity of Jesus Christ; Hear my words and my sighs, even day and hour I will call on You; increase the spiritual power of faith in my weak soul and in the sorrows of my heart be a life-giving consolation to the heart that seeks You. O beneficial Lady, make me live in peace under Your maternal cover. Madam, you have tempted me and you have known me; Thou hast known my falls and crimes, but having multiplied upon me, a sinner, the mother of Thy mercy and expanded upon me Thy goodness; I look, like a prodigal son, to heaven, but by Your intercession I lament, but by Your inspiration I am reassured, but by looking at the holy image of Your meek face I am saved, but by faith and hope in my Savior, Whom You hold in Your arms and show Him to me, a sinner, as a consolation, I trust receive bliss forever and ever. Deliver me, O Lady, from the evil man, and keep me from the hellish enemy: the enemy strains his bow against me and ensnares my soul with his flattery; crush, O Lady, the powers of his wickedness and stifle his cunning, turn his iniquities to his neck and into the abyss he has made, so that he will soon fall; I will rejoice in You and rejoice in Your salvation. Rejoice, Most Holy Theotokos, most honorable of the Cherubim and closest to God of the Seraphim; Who can worthily sing of Your glory, Your dignity, Your lordship, Your bounty and all Your mercy, consolation and blessing? You are an ocean of inexhaustible miracles. Madam, I humbly appeal to You: hear me, attend to my prayer and petition; may my prayer be corrected, like incense before Your face, in the evening, morning and noon, and at all times, may the malice of this world not darken my mind; Make me, O Lady, always understand what is pleasing to You and confirm my heart in true love for You. With my voice I called out to the Lady and prayed earnestly to Her, shedding my tears before Her and offering my heart disease to Her, as if an evil enemy from hell was watching over my heel and spreading his nets against me everywhere; help me, O Lady, that my feet may not stumble before him, but that he himself may crumble under my feet, and tremble for Thy name and power. Madam, hear my prayer, inspire my prayer, as if the enemy has driven my soul, he is trying to hinder me on the path to eternal salvation, burden my heart with your darkness and my spirit has become sad; Do not turn Your face away from me, O Lady, lest I fall with those who descend into the pit of hell, but send Your light and Your grace, and its darkness will disappear before me and my life and mind will be preserved. Rejoice, ever-glorious Ever-Virgin, beloved Mother of God, most gracious, more than honey and the sweetest honeycomb, more beautiful than the sun, more bright than the moon, more brilliant than the stars, more than cypress and the most fragrant aroma of all; do it, most merciful one, do it, so that for the sake of the remembrance of your most holy name I will despise all the vanity and joy of this world and reject it with all my heart, crying out to the heavenly ones. According to the 19th kathisma troparia, ch. 5 Woe to me, what will I do, the accursed one, what will I create the beginning of my salvation, passing through my life indecently? Do not reject me, O Good One, who is lost and perishing, and show me images of repentance, Mother of God, for I will always glorify You in praise. See, O Lady, my contrition, and heal the one embittered by demonic excuses and cruel carnal passions, from which we are burdened with illnesses, I am filled with sorrow, and much despondency, and cramped darkness. But the One God who gave birth to all who bore in His flesh the ulcers and ailments of men, implored Him to give me peace and great mercy Rejoice, divine abode of the Lord, glory of the Angels and man's hope and strength in need, firm intercession of all of us, confirmation and wall of those who trust in You, refuge of the faithful, gracious Mother of the humane God: beseech Him to grant peace and great mercy to Your servants Oh, All-Merciful Lady, Queen of heaven and earth, Lady of Angels and men! To You, our most merciful Intercessor, our Lord Jesus Christ, at His crucifixion, entrust to Your disciple John, saying to him: Behold your Mother, and through him you have named their Mother to all Orthodox Christians, so that all who flow with faith and love under Your sovereign protection will be saved and delivered from all troubles and misfortunes. For this reason, I, unworthy to be called Your son, moreover, a cursed and indecent servant, who has defiled his mind and heart with countless sins, sad and lazy in every good deed, I dare to run under Your roof, the Mother of mercy and goodness, with tenderness and contrition of heart, asking and praying not to reject me, repentant. See the scabs and rot of my damned soul, hear the cry of my painful heart. Visit me with Your motherly bounties, who were not worthy of being created - a madman and an apostate of the commandments of Your Son and my God. But just as you did not despise the prayer of Theophilus, who rejected Your Son and Lord and You, His most immaculate Mother, asking him for forgiveness of this terrible sin: do not despise me, O Lady, who places all my trust in You, do not reject me, as an unbreakable servant, the second crucifier of Your Son with sins mine, do not be disgusted by my stench. I believe, O zealous Intercessor, that you can ask everything you can from Your Son, as much as you desire. When King Solomon, that man, said to his mother: Ask me, my mother, whatever you want, and I will give it to you; What blessings does not grant You, the Good Lady, and what request of Yours will not Your Son, the King of heaven and earth, Almighty, Merciful and Humane-loving, fulfill? To Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, together with His Beginning Father and the All-Holy, Good, and Life-Giving Spirit to endless ages. Amen.
