In Thee, O Lady, I have trusted and will not be ashamed forever: by Thy mercy free me. For the sake of my sins, I am extremely embittered, my enemies surpassed my head, imitated me and mocked me all day long; Look, all-merciful Lady, as I grieve: stretch out Your right hand and help the perishing; do not become rigid, do not become rigid with Your prayers, You have been established in You from the womb, from the womb of my mother, You are my only unfaithful patroness. God, You have given Thy righteous judgment to Thy beloved Son, the King of kings, to judge Thy people in righteousness; send Your mercies upon us and through the heavenly Queen, His beloved Mother, on Her hands we behold the Son of God, our salvation and eternal life, heaven and earth are filled with Her glory. Oh, glorified Lady! Our hearts delight in you; Make us forget the sin-loving passions of this vain life, draw us with the bonds of Your goodness and arouse in our souls a thirst for eternal blessings, intoxicate our hearts and thoughts with the sweetness of heaven. Mistress, do not reject Your servant, who places all his hope in You according to God; Do not disdain me, the incontinent one, and do not despise the poor and tormented by the most severe illnesses; but, as the compassionate Mother of a merciful God, have mercy on Your servant, deliver me from the condemnation in my conscience, calm the storm of evil thoughts, extinguish the furnace of lust and tame the flame of the flesh, and kindle in me love for Your Son and God, and protect all my feelings, do not allow a single crazy desire to enter my heart. Pray to the Lord to give me time to repent, so that the ax of death will not strike me down fruitless and I will not be cast into the fire. Light the extinguished lamp of my soul, dispel the darkness of my iniquities and disperse the darkness of my lusts through Your intercession, for the prayer of the Mother can do much before the Son, who is willing to reconcile. Give me the light of repentance and lead me to the days of heartfelt contrition. If the Lord is good with a right heart, loving and honoring His Most Pure Mother: By Her prayers we please Him, By Her intercession the wrath of God is turned away from us sinners, With Her help our labors are blessed, She will appear as an intercessor for those who love and honor You at the Last Judgment of God, but those who separate themselves from Her will perish. Madam, do not completely reject us on the day of sorrow, may our prayer be corrected before You and do not despise the voices of those who sigh; The spiritual enemy strains his bow against us, but You, Omnipotent Queen, lift up Your hand against his pride to the end and marry him to the place of eternal condemnation. Rejoice, Most Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary, refuge of repentant sinners, nourisher of the poor, salvation of the weak, consolation of the embittered, give me this grace, so that my soul may love You with inner love and my tongue may speak Your praise day and night. Let us confess to You, O Lady, with all my heart and rejoice in Your praise: sing to Her, you who live on earth and proclaim Her praise among people, worship Her in Her heavenly beauty, glorify Her in Her inscrutable kindness, remember Her mercies forever and ever, keep in mind Her powers and miracles. God was known in Judea and His great name was known in newly blessed Israel; more glorious and delightful than honey and honeycomb is the name of the Most Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary; Her bounty is more than the aroma; Salvation and life, peace and glory are given to us by Her virgin Fruit: glorify the heavens and earth, give Her all creation praise and offer Her mercy with gratitude. With my voice I cried out to the Lady Mary and listened to me with His mercy, took away despondency and sorrow from my heart, with Your meekness revived my spirit, changed the weakness of my will into good hope and with Your humble dove-like outlook created all my inner play, with Your help I brought me out of mortal misfortune and delivered me from the hand of the enemy and the local of evil. I thank You, my God and Savior, and Your beloved Mother, my quick Helper. Rejoice, intercessor to God and man, Mother of mercy, inexhaustibly pouring out upon us sinners the gifts of Thy grace; By Your prayers, all-merciful Lady, by Your help, by Your intercession to Your beloved Son and our God, our sinful ulcers are healed. How many sinners, from the very abyss of their fall, who cried out to You with tears, You, the Helper, most mercifully snatched away and vouchsafed to receive eternally blissful joy. Glory to You, Most Merciful Mother! According to the 10th kathisma of the troparia, ch. 2 I flow to Your protection, Mother of God, asking for Your intercession, do not reject me, Most Pure One, but graciously accept the caller: You who gave birth to a human physician, heal my ailing soul. With the divine light, remove the darkness of my heart, O Good One, who give me streams of tears to wash away my defilements, in the image of the Most Good Lord who saddened me: in You alone I have consolation. My life, Lady, is filled with many temptations from many of my evils, but You deliver me from all of these, and make me without stumbling, so that by faith I glorify Your Divine Name. O Most Holy Lady, Virgin Mother of God, highest of the Cherubim and Seraphim and Holiest of all Saints. I fall to You and earnestly pray, Most Blessed Intercessor of our race, in this earthly journey, many-sorrowful and many-rebellious, do not deprive me of Your intercession and sovereign protection. Save and protect me, Lady, from the kindled arrows of the crafty enemy of our salvation. Strengthen my weak will in doing the commandments of Christ, soften my hardened heart with love for God and my neighbors, grant me heartfelt contrition and true repentance, so that, having been cleansed from the filth of sin, I can bring to the Creator the fruits of good deeds pleasing to Him and be honored with a peaceful Christian death and the right answer to the terrible and His impartial judgment. To her, the all-merciful Lady, in the hour of menacing death, show me Your powerful intercession, then hasten to help me, helpless, and with Your sovereign hand to snatch me from the power of the fierce world ruler: truly, Your prayer can do much before the face of the Lord, and nothing is impossible for Your intercession, if only you will. Moreover, looking tenderly at Your holy image and before Him, as if You were alive with us, worshiping with good hope, I prayerfully commend myself and my whole life to You in God and magnify You with our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who was born of You, to Him with His beginningless Father and the Most Holy Spirit belongs all glory, honor and worship, now and forever and ever. Amen.
