The Martyrs of Christ Kyriacia, Kaleria (or Valeria) and Maria came from the city of Caesarea in Palestine 3712. Instructed in the Christian faith by one Christian, they renounced vile idolatry sacrifices, came to Christ and were baptized. Then they settled in a certain hut, remaining in silence and praying to God that the flattery of idolatry would dissipate, that the faith of Christ would shine throughout the whole world, and thus that the persecution of Christians would cease. When they lived in this way in fasting and prayer, they were slandered before the ruler of that country by idolaters and were forced to renounce Christ and worship idols. To ale za žádných okolností udělat nechtěli. Proto byli nemilosrdně mučeni krutým mučením a v těchto mukách vydávali své duše do rukou Božích.
