ВОСПИТАНИЕ

The educated and uneducated youth rarely go to church, do not conduct their spiritual education at all, considering it as if unnecessary and giving themselves up to the vanity of life. We need to pay attention to this. This is the fruit of pride and spiritual underdevelopment. They consider visiting the church and worship services to be a public matter for the common people and women, forgetting that in the church with fear the Angels serve together with people and consider this to be the greatest bliss (1). It is little merit of man before God to give birth to one like himself or to be born himself. This is the work of God, the work of nature or nature, characteristic of all animals. There are many born who would rather not have been born - such are all the villains, unrepentant apostates, heretics, murderers, suicides, drunkards, adulterers, like King Herod, money lovers, covetous people, traitors to the right faith, regicides, haters and scolders of their parents, and others. There is no merit in giving birth or being born. And a merit before God is to raise a child and make him or the person himself become a good member of the family, a devoted member of the state and a good, believing Christian (3). A Christian must invariably take care of his spiritual education, for which he was reborn in the holy font by the Holy Spirit, and accepted spiritual rebirth, and was sealed with the world or the seal of the Holy Spirit, and was awarded the right to partake of the most pure Blood of Christ. According to God's intention, the Holy Church is the first and most legitimate educator of Christian souls. There is no more important matter than the matter of Christian education. Judge and understand for yourself how dear these rational, immortal souls are to God, redeemed by the Blood of the Son of God Himself, called from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge of God by the Lord Himself, betrothed and united to the Lord as pure virgins to the Most Pure Bridegroom! How dear is the salvation of these souls, to whom He offers His most pure Body and most pure Blood as food and drink, whom He Himself undertook to educate spiritually through these wondrous, terrible, life-giving and idolizing Mysteries! Engage in your spiritual education with all attention and diligence; engage in contemplation of God, prayer, self-examination, self-condemnation, comprehensive self-correction, practice the virtues of meekness, humility, obedience, patience, mercy, chastity, simplicity, kindness, and cut off all sinful thoughts, lusts, habits, passions (10).
