I know that on a fragile boat I set off on a long voyage, or on small wings I am carried away to the starry sky, I, in whom the idea was born to discover the Divinity, or the definitions of the great God, and the key to everything; whereas the heavenly minds do not have the strength to revere God as much as they should. However, since the Divine is often pleased with the gift not so much of a full hand as of a hand pleasing to Him, albeit meager, I will boldly speak the word. But whoever is wicked, run away! My word extends either to those who have been purified or to those who are working to purify themselves. Desecrated? Just as the animals that touched the mountain, when Christ shone from its top and wrote the law to Moses on the tablets, were immediately stoned with stones that were rejected (Ex. 19:13), so it will be with them. So the word from our face drives away the evil ones who have a heart that fights against God. And I will put on the pages with a preface what the ancient God-wise men - Moses and Isaiah (I say this to those who know), when one gave a newly written law, and the other reminded of the broken law in order to tremble a hard-hearted people - presented words as evidence. “Listen to the sky and let the earth hear my verbs!” (Deut.32.1; Is.1.2). Spirit of God! You awaken my mind and tongue in me, make them a thunderous trumpet of truth, so that all who cling with their hearts to the entire Divinity may delight! There is one God, beginningless, guiltless, unlimited by anything, either previously existing or having to be after, both in the past and in the future, embracing eternity, boundless, the good, great Only Begotten Son, the great Father, Who in the birth of the Son did not suffer anything inherent in the body, because He is the Mind. There is one other God, but not another in Divinity - this Word of this God, the living seal of the Father, the one Son of the Beginningless and the Only One, equal in everything to the Father (except that one is entirely the Parent, and the other the Son), the World Maker and Ruler, the power and thought of the Father. One Spirit is God from the good God. May everyone perish who has not been so imprinted by the Spirit that He reveals His Divinity, who either has evil in the depths of his heart or an unclean tongue - these half-bright, envious people, these self-taught wise men - this blocked source (Prov. 25:27), a lamp hidden in a dark bosom (Luke 11:33)!
