May all undertakings be guided by faith in God and may good hope accompany it, so that through faith we can strengthen our spiritual strength, and through good hope we can arouse in ourselves zeal for good. On the contrary, in the practice of virtue both must be combined—both human diligence and help coming from above by faith.
