Chapter 25

The person who believed in Christ is introduced, who deny and strongly resist participating in the host of Jews who have gathered against the Lord and His Christ. Ps.25:1. Judge me, Lord, for I have walked in kindness. He calls non-malice non-participation in the maliciousness and recklessness of the Jews. And trusting in the Lord I will not faint. I will have firm support, placing my hope of salvation in You. Ps.25:2. Tempt me, Lord, and test me. If you probe the depths of my soul, you will find that I place all the care of my mind on Your mercy alone. By doing this, I will be acceptable in Your sight, having loved Your truth. Ps.25:4. I do not travel with a vain host. Before the Leader, the testing of hearts is clearly denied by the host of the most lawless rulers of the Jewish people. Ps.25:6. I will wash my innocent hands. I will, he says, be clean from their bad deeds. And I will build Your altar, O Lord. In these words the ministry of words is clearly preached. Ps.25:8. Lord, I have loved the beauty of Your house. The splendor of the home is those adorned in the Church with godliness. I wish, says the Psalmist, to see the divine house in which Your grace shines. Ps.25:9. May you not destroy my soul with the wicked. He prays not to be subjected to the execution that awaits the Jews. Ps.25:10. In the hand of iniquity, their right hand is filled with rewards, because either they themselves distort the truth for gifts, or they bribed a traitor with gifts.
