63. Духовнику надо говорить все, как было на самом деле

Your Reverence, most honorable Mother Abbess Lyudmila in the Lord! I received your letter dated March 29 and thank you for congratulating me, a sinner, on the Midsummer Day, on the feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin and on the day of my Angel, as well as for your subsequent well-wishes. I also received ten rubles from you by mail transfer for Fr. Anastasia five rubles. For all your diligence I offer you deep gratitude. You write that you bought a box of sprats for two seriously ill sisters, and ask how to repent of this. - So tell your confessor how it went, that is, that you bought sprats for the seriously ill sisters and allowed them to eat during Lent. Thank God that you are at peace with your sisters and mother. Anna is in good spirits. May God grant that it will continue to be so. The Great Week of the saving Passion of Christ is approaching, and after it is coming the bright holiday of the all-glorious Resurrection of our Lord and God and Savior Jesus Christ. I have the honor to congratulate you on these significant days for us sinners. I prayerfully wish that the Lord will grant you and all your sisters in Christ to meet and spend these days in good health and complacency. Asking for you and your cells: mm. To Paphnutius, Hilarion, Zosima, Onesiphorus and Masha, and to M. Vyacheslav, and to all the other sisters of your monastery, peace and God's blessing, I remain with sincere good wishes. And on the holiday itself, I greet you with this greeting: Christ is Risen! You might be interested in:
