Most honorable mother of Treasurer Eliconidas in the Lord!
I am briefly answering your letter. It is advisable for you to see me. But I do not accept any of the visitors due to weakness of bodily strength. And therefore, if you come to Optina, you will not see me. You and Mother Superior shouldn’t grieve too much, because I’m still incomparably better off now than before.
Peace to you all and God's blessing.
