363. Всякое послушание есть крест, тем более послушание настоятельское

M. St. O. n. G.I.H.B.n. p.n. Most honorable Mother Superior Eulalia! I received your letter, filled with sorrows. May the Lord be with you always, and help you, and admonish you, and instruct you in all your affairs. Do not be discouraged, but be strong in spirit and ask for help from the Lord. All obedience is a cross, and even more so, superior obedience. But you did not take on this cross on your own, but was assigned for obedience, then for the sake of obedience you bear it without complaint, but with patience. And for your work and sorrows you will receive a reward from God. Be smart in business, if possible, get involved in everything yourself, look after everything, know everything, then maybe things will go better. Overcome all troubles with patience, being tolerant of the weaknesses of your neighbors, but don’t give too much away. Try especially to protect your sisters from mental harm. May the Most Holy Theotokos help you in all your affairs. Pray to Her. Marfa Zheltova may come, but she has a lot of things to do. I think I agree. May the Lord bless all your sisters and grant them to work hard for the salvation of their souls. Calling upon you peace and God's blessing, I remain with sincere goodwill. You might be interested in:
