M. St. O. n. G.I.H.B.n. p.n. Sister in the Lord M. Magdalene! I wish you God's mercy and spiritual salvation. I wish God’s help in your labors and deeds of soul and body. I received your letter. You write about a sin. May the Lord forgive you. Let this incident teach you not to be philosophic, but to be humble. For it is not our efforts, not our labors, not our time that delivers us from passions, but the grace of God, which is bestowed only on the humble. Always remember this and never rely on yourself, even if passion has not bothered you for many years, for both miracle workers and great fasters were suddenly overcome and overthrown by passion. But always spend your life between fear and hope, calling on the Lord for help and humbling yourself in every possible way. Confess this sin to your spiritual father, and by the grace of God there will be no trace of it on your soul. Whoever walks, do not reject him, teach him and pray to God. You don’t have to bow down for each one, but remember them all together, and at the same time reproach yourself more and more, remembering your own falls. Try not to leave Pentecost. You can do it piece by piece. I send my blessing to Pasha and Eustolia. May the Lord help them in their labors. Why is Pasha going to leave? You need to drive this thought away from yourself. Obedience is a great virtue. And if she thinks she will receive any harm from obedience, then the grace of God will cover her, only so that she herself does not indulge in negligence and carelessness. Asking for peace and God's blessing on you, I remain with sincere goodwill. You might be interested in:
