A hymn of thanksgiving to the Most Holy Trinity, sung throughout the Bright Week of Easter

Glory to Thee, most gracious God, Father Almighty, glory to Thee and worship and splendor from all visible and mental creatures, now and to endless ages! How worthy am I, earthly and passionate, ungrateful creature of Thy most pure hands, I will sing and glorify the countless power of the divine Ty Majesty and the unexplored abyss of Thy goodness and love for mankind, which is ungrateful to us, who have already retreated from Thy goodness and have ungratefully disrespected us with all manner of malice, disobedience and by the disobedience of those who grieved Thy humane wombs, Thou didst not cease to have mercy on us and provide for us and nourish and turn us from the path of our charms to the path of Thy truth, wondrous miracles, prophets and laws and saving commandments, signs from heaven, signs from the earth and sea, but for us the accursed, insensitively abiding to the capital, even to us, goodness Yours and in every way that grieves You and with all kinds of wickedness and unspeakable iniquities, You turned away from us below or abandoned us, for the abyss of Your goodness is unexplored and endless, by which you were defeated, Who alone is invincible and omnipotent, You deigned to send the Son of our Lord, co-originating and co-essential with You Jesus Christ for help and for the return of our accursed ungrateful race, this is Your great testimony, even for us, perfect goodness, who did not spare your only begotten and beloved Son, but gave Him over to blasphemous passions and bitter death, for the salvation of us ungrateful ones. What great and terrible mystery is this, what is Your love and kindness for us, the wicked and ungrateful? Isn’t it possible, since there is only one Almighty, to save our race in another way? May she, Lord, heal us with one divine wave; What is impossible for you? They all work and obey you, like the Master and Creator. But there was good will before You, as if it would be reasonable, even for us who are damned, Your innumerable love for mankind and the abyss of Your generosity, and as if not just the wave of Your omnipotent divine power, You can do great and wondrous things, but even with the weakest and weakest, even with us; because the weakest of human flesh is the passions and the cross and death, in them and in their image you have put to shame the principalities and powers of the dark, but also the proud and majestic Satan and the devil who has the power of death, whose manifold wickedness and evil deeds over the years have been enough to kill us fools, whom you have now subdued and trampled underfoot. Those who piously serve Thy divine glory are trampled upon and mocked, just as a bad bird is driven away by the invincible sign of the cross formed by Nan. Such, even from Your goodness, the divine power is placed in him, puts demons to flight, drives away illnesses, awakens the dead, as if from sleep. We are weak and wretched, what can we bring to this against you, even about us, goodness? You demand not a single thing from those who exist, for everything is Yours, both in heaven and on earth and in the seas and abysses, You are both the Creator and the Lord of all of them; from us alone, from those who exist, You demand and desire Your great goodness for our salvation and honest conversion and repentance, even for the sake of guilt and death You gave up Your beloved only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord, by whose life-giving death we were dead before beings were revived and the dark abysses of hell were escaped and the ascension into heaven, found and closed of old, through the disobedience of our forefather, the entrance to paradise, having received again through the obedience of the second Adam our Lord Jesus Christ, whose divine and life-giving resurrection throughout the whole year, celebrating the joys of the divine and unspeakable spiritual joys in our souls, we are filled, for his sake and chanting with a cry from the depths of our hearts: blessed art thou, O Lord God of our father and reverent and exalted forever and ever, Amen, and blessed is the name of Your glory, praised and exalted forever and ever, Amen, for You have deigned to visit us with the East from above, which is the appearance of the mental Sun of righteousness Jesus Christ our Lord, for You have revived those who are dead by wickedness with Your lordship, as the enemies who existed before and the sons of the devil and children of the nature of wrath, friends and sons and children of Thy beloved, Thou hast revealed us, by the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord and the gift of Thy Holy Spirit, having washed us with the divine bath of rebirth, as if we were darkened by all sorts of charms and false external reason, the sophist illuminated us with the rays of God's understanding and the treasures of unblemished theology and wisdom, in which we are abundantly illuminated, let us blessedly bless the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the one God in three hypostases, beginningless, uncreated, co-essential, endless, the creator of all visible and invisible, the pre-good, the lover of mankind, the giver of all good and guilty, before him we slavishly fall and chanting with a cry: save us by Thy grace, Most Holy Trinity, creator and sustainer of all, preserve us in the present wretched life of faithfully serving Thee and lovingly and pleasing to Thee, always doing so, with all thanksgiving and pure living, and in the future grant us the opportunity to associate ourselves with the divine face of Thy chosen ones, where the pure noise of those celebrating and the voice of ineffable joy; For You are our beloved God, faithful and righteous, and we are Your people, by Your grace, and know no other to You, We name and glorify Your name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit of the one deity and kingdom, To Him belongs all glory, honor, worship, forever and ever.
