Gal.6:1. Brethren! If a person falls into any sin, you who are spiritual correct him in the spirit of meekness, each one watching himself, so as not to be tempted. “Brotherhood, even if a person falls into some kind of sin, you spiritually correct such a person,” that is, restore, affirm, fill what is missing. He also teaches the method of healing. "Spirit of meekness". Then it instills fear in the doctor. “Be careful, lest you too be tempted.” You are a human being, your nature is changeable, sympathize with those who are overcome by illness. Gal.6:2. Bear one another's burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ. “Bear one another’s burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.” You have one flaw, but you don’t have another. He, on the contrary, does not have the deficiency that you have, but has another. You bear his shortcomings, and let him bear yours. In this way the law of love is fulfilled. For the Apostle called love the law of Christ. These are the words of Christ: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another” (John 13:34). Gal.6:3. For whoever thinks himself to be something when he is nothing deceives himself. “Whoever imagines himself to be something, worthless, flatters himself with his mind.” This brought down the arrogance of those who were puffed up by any small achievements. Gal.6:4. Let each one test his own work, and then he will have praise only in himself, and not in another. “Let everyone test his own work, and then let him have praise in himself, and not in others.” If you want to boast, then consider your life and, if you find it worthy of praise, boast about yourself, if only you must do so. Gal.6:5. For each one will bear his own burden. “Everyone will bear his burden.” Don't be curious about other people's affairs. For each of us will give an account of our own sins. Gal.6:6. Instructed by the word, share every good thing with the one who instructs. “Let him communicate and learn the words of those who teach in all good things.” It directs teachers to accept proper services from students. And he calls the matter fellowship and commands that those who enjoy spiritual things should share in carnal things. Gal.6:7. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. “Don’t be flattered, God cannot be mocked. For as a man sows, so shall he also reap.” The God of all oversees everything; Don’t think that He doesn’t know what’s going on. But know that the harvest will correspond to the sowing: what you sow, that you will reap. Gal.6:8. He who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. “Whatever you sow to your flesh, from the flesh you will reap corruption.” Whoever gives pleasure and pleasure to the flesh will have corruption as a result of this, because the body is given over to corruption. “But whoever sows to the spirit, from the spirit he will reap eternal life.” Whoever strives for a spiritual goal and follows the laws of the Spirit will gain eternal life. Gal.6:9. Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up. “If we do good, let us not be discouraged; in our season we will reap, without failing.” Let nothing sorrowful interrupt your zeal for good. For without difficulty we will reap what we sow; The Apostle expressed this by saying: “without weakening.” As for sensual seeds, sowing is associated with labor, as well as reaping. Often the heat of harvest time relaxes those who reap. But this is not the harvest; she is free from labor and sweat. Gal.6:10. So, as long as we have time, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our faith. “In the meantime, imams, let us do good to everyone, especially to those close to us in the faith.” So the Lord said in the Holy Gospel: “Be merciful, as your Heavenly Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36): “as His sun shines on the evil and on the good, and rains on the righteous and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:45). However, one should primarily serve those of the same faith. Gal.6:11. You see how much I wrote to you with my own hand. “You see, I wrote to you with a number of books with my hand.” Apparently, he wrote this entire message himself, teaching that when it comes to truth, one should not pay attention to the dignity of persons. The words “with a number of books” were interpreted by others as large, and by others as awkward letters, that is, I wrote the message myself, although I write it ugly. Gal.6:12. Those who want to boast in the flesh force you to be circumcised only so as not to be persecuted for the cross of Christ. “The little ones want to boast in the flesh, they force you to be circumcised, so that you will not be persecuted for the sake of the cross.” Those who seek human glory and are concerned about their own safety offer the doctrine of the need for circumcision, so as not to endure reproach and imprisonment like us who preach Christ. Gal.6:13. For even those who are circumcised do not keep the law, but they want you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh. “Neither do those who are circumcised keep the law themselves, but they want to be circumcised for you, so that they may boast in your flesh.” For how is it possible for them to keep the law while living far from Jerusalem? How to celebrate holidays? How to make sacrifices? How to perform ablution after touching something unclean? Therefore, it is clear that, wanting to boast that they taught you a new teaching, they forced you to be circumcised. Gal.6:14. But I do not want to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. “Let me not boast except about the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ: to whom peace was crucified, and to the world.” But I want to boast in the one saving cross. That is why all life is superfluous for me, but I am also superfluous for it, because I expect immortal life. For this the Apostle added: Gal.6:15. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but there is a new creation. About “Christ Jesus, neither circumcision is able, nor uncircumcision, but is a new creation.” He said the same thing in the Epistle to the Corinthians: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation” (2 Cor. 5:17). “New” “creature” in the proper sense refers to the future change of things after the resurrection from the dead. For then the creation will be freed from the corruption that lies upon it, and human nature will be clothed in “immortality.” But as if some image of the future shows saving baptism. For in him we put off the old man and put on the new; Having laid aside the burden of sins, we accept the grace of the Spirit. Therefore, neither all-holy baptism nor the future life knows the difference between circumcision and uncircumcision. “Peace” the Apostle called everything in life, honor, glory, wealth. And he said that he was dead to them. Gal.6:16. To those who act according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and on the Israel of God. “And the little ones live by this rule: peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. “Rule,” the Apostle called the teaching presented, as adorned with righteousness and not having in itself anything insufficient or superfluous, and he wished mercy and peace to those who loved it. “Israel” and “God’s” he called the faithful, as those who contemplate God by faith. For this is what the name means: “Israel.” Gal.6:17. However, let no one burden me, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus on my body. “Other than that, no one gives me labor: for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus on my body.” Bringing to memory the works that he had taken up, bringing to them the Divine Gospel, he spoke this word as if as a kind of testimony. I don’t want, he says, to write anything else; Instead of writings, I show ulcers and signs of reproach, let them testify to the truth of the sermon. Because I am ready to endure anything for her. Gal.6:18. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers, amen.” Like a kind of seal, he attached the usual blessing to the scripture. He added a mention of the spirit, recalling the gift given to them, which they received through faith, not law. Let us also keep this grace and will not offend “the Holy Spirit, Who was signified on the day of deliverance” (Eph. 4:30); but to this intelligent Light, like some kind of oil, let us bring good deeds, so that, illuminated by It, we may walk the straight path and reach the desired end of the path in Christ Jesus our Lord.
