Hebrews 3:1. Hence, brother saints, beloved, calling participants, - not the law given on Mount Sinai, but that is, the promise given to Abraham from heaven, - understand the Messenger and High Priest of our confession, since our confession is offered to Him (God) as the high priest (sacrifice). And He, Jesus Christ, was “faithful” to Him who was the High Priest Hebrews 3:2 made [set] Him, not in the Holy of Holies, but in everything that is in heaven and on earth - (he was faithful) as he was faithful his entry into the inner Holy of Holies (Num. 12:7). However, from the expression: “like Moses,” do not conclude that He is the same as Moses: Hebrews 3:3 For the glory of this High Priest is greater... than Moses (than the glory of Moses) as much as Great... honor... has... compared to the house, the one who built it. In the same way, the honor of the Lord and the Son is greater than that of Moses' servant: that which is built is built by man, but Moses was created and Hebrews 3:5. and Moses, of course, was faithful, but as a servant, he was faithful throughout the whole house... to testify to what was said then. is not a slave like Moses, but was faithful, not over the inside of the tabernacle, but over the souls of the people, for we... are the house... of Him [we are], - if only we remain firm in boldness and our and let us not be ashamed of the glory of our hope in Him, for this is His suffering. Likewise, this should not seem strange to you, since for this reason the Spirit also said: (Heb. 3:7–9) Now that... you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as... your fathers tempted... in the wilderness at the time when the spies returned, having examined the (promised) land (Num. 13, Num. 14, Exod. 17:2, 7, Ps. 94:7-10). Hebrews 3:11. And I swore that... they will not enter My rest (Ps. 94:11). Hebrews 3:12. Therefore look let not... any of you have an evil heart, as they did, who did not enter (the promised land), and do not depart from the Living God because of your unbelief. Hebrews 3:13. But comfort your hearts all the days of your life, lest you become hardened. Hebrews 3:14. For... we became partakers of Christ from the beginning through vocation - only yes we will remain strong to the end time in this true covenant, especially because all the covenants that came into being foreshadowed in sacraments and images precisely this very covenant. Hebrews 3:15. Do not harden, he says, your hearts for who are they? h5 Hebrews 3:16 . But not all who came out of the land of Egypt were for some of them entered, meaning Jesus and Caleb. Hebrews 3:17. Who was he indignant at again... for forty years? Isn't it on those who did not believe Caleb and Joshua, and acted unrighteously, worshiping the calf and doing many other things - and Hebrews 3:18. Or to whom did he swear that they would not enter His rest? Those who did not want to obey Moses, Aaron, Joshua and Caleb, who ruled them. Hebrews 3:19. From here we see that... they couldn’t enter to the land promised to them, not at all because of their evil deeds, although they were unrighteous, but because they did not believe the word of God.
