Hebrews 10:1. For the law is a shadow, that is, all his earthly promises are only a likeness perfect because he was imperfect. Because of external persecutions or internal sorrows, let us not leave each other without help, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us comfort one another, especially when you see the day of tribulation or persecution approaching (Heb. 10:24-25). And you were also a “spectacle” of migration during the days of your persecution, and having become commoners of the toilers as well, Hebrews 10:34. you had compassion for the prisoners... you... and the theft of your name and theirs did not mourn, but on the contrary rejoiced in their souls, because they knew and hoped that the best blessings were in store for you instead of that worst and perishable thing that was taken from you. Therefore, take heed that you do not deprive yourselves of the confidence that I think you have acquired for yourself, for you know that for it there will be a great reward (Heb. 10:35). With patience it becomes you to do the will of God in order to receive these gifts promised to you (Heb. 10:36).
