1 Corinthians 6:1. How dare any of you,... having a matter... with another, leave the saints and go to court? among the covetous sons of the world? 1 Corinthians 6:2. Let us flee from fornication. Every sin that a person commits, even if he subjected him to the second death (Apoc.2:11, 20:6, 14), however So, whoever kills or steals does not in the least connect through murder or theft (with this or that person). But whoever commits fornication, not only is his mind (soul) attached to the woman he meets, but his body is also united, which is why it was said: “they shall become... two flesh through one” (1 Cor. 6:16.. First he said: “Know ye not that your bodies are members of Christ” (1 Cor. 6:15), and then he added here: Don’t you know that your body is a church... of the Holy Spirit... Who dwells in you, - in order to show precisely that people are made the dwelling and abode of the Trinity. This is what our Lord said: “Whoever loves Me will keep My commandments... and My Father will love him; and... to him... we will come and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). When, he says, keep your bodies from all uncleanness, then 1 Corinthians 6:20. glorify God, Who dwells in your bodies.
