Purification of the body means immunity from carnal defilement. Purification of the soul is liberation from secret passions arising in the mind. Purification of the mind is accomplished by the revelation of secrets. For he is cleansed of everything that, due to its abundance, is subject to feeling. Small children are innocent in body, dispassionate in soul; but no one will call them pure in mind. For purity of mind is perfection in staying in heavenly contemplation, to which, without the participation of the senses, we are aroused by the spiritual power of the heavenly decorations, the countless wonders of this heavenly world, the lives of which are separated from each other, subtle in their invisible service, abiding in the understanding of Divine revelations, constantly, every hour, changing 634.
