Someone saw and asked a sudden vision: “Who is this piercing one like the morning” (Song.6:9)? We see, and not as one who has suddenly appeared, we ask, but as always longed for, we call upon You: come, “piercing like the morning,” through the still remaining darkness after the deep preceding night, rising, like a quiet dawn, the harbinger of the new sun, from You who has risen to Russia, whom we are eagerly awaiting. Come, Mother of Kings! May the Father of lights bless Your entrance; and may the hope brought to us by You be fulfilled, to soon see Nicholas in the fullness of Sacred glory, already shining with Royal virtues - Your and our consolation.
