Without a doubt, you will especially honor St. Sergius with grateful memories, under whose canopy you decisively crossed over from the worldly path to the church path and found spiritual guidance. Let me say by the way: our great father Sergius, as if in some reward to the Orthodox Church for not giving her himself to the episcopacy, abundantly raises under his shadow the sons of obedience and spiritual reason, whom the church’s election then calls to episcopacy.
