(Said on March 27th; published in the Moscow Vedas and in the collection of 1861) Most Pious, Most Autocratic Sovereign! We greet You with gratitude to God and with a feeling of our happiness. Your Throne is overshadowed by the cover of Providence. Your family is blooming and grafting new blooming branches into itself. In days short of peace, Your people are at peace: because Your Autocratic spirit is watching over them. From the dust of antiquity You have resurrected Your Royal palace here, in a majesty worthy of Your kingdom, and You grant to the great day of the Resurrection, the King of days, to sanctify Your holiday of renewal. At the intercession of the Saints, to whom piety leads You in this church, we pray to God, may His blessing be upon Your House, may piety always remain sovereign with You, and may Your Russia always be strong and happy through Your piety and Autocracy.
