“Sheol and Abaddon [are] open before the Lord, much more the hearts of the sons of men” (Prov. 15:11). But the sinner keeps thinking that no one sees him, and, hiding from human eyes in the darkness of the night or the emptiness of the place, he believes that he is not noticed by anyone. God's eye saw everything; the guardian angel and conscience were witnesses. Once upon a time you will stand for judgment: then everything hidden will be exposed; incorruptible witnesses will be present - and you will remain silent. The verdict will be peremptory. One remedy to prevent this inevitable extreme is repentance. The door to him is open. Hasten to enter before the hour strikes, which will strike when you do not know and will put an end to both your sins and all hope of pardon. You might be interested in:
