“I will save you, and you will be a blessing,” promises the Lord through the prophet Zechariah (Zechariah 8:13). But under what conditions? By this, if everyone speaks the truth to those who are sincere, if they sort out their affairs among themselves righteously, if they do not bear grudges in their hearts against their neighbor, if they do not love false oaths, and love peace and truth. If these conditions are fulfilled, then, says the Lord, “they will be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and righteousness” (Zech. 8:8), and blessing will spread among them. Then all outsiders will hear and say: “Let us go to them to pray before the Lord” (Zech. 8:21), for they have heard that the Lord is with them. “And many tribes and mighty nations will come to seek the Lord of hosts” (Zech. 8:22). Thus, people and nations were attracted to the Lord by the high moral purity of the leading Christians. And those who always live according to the spirit of Christ without words are the best preachers of Christ and the most convincing apostles of Christianity. You might be interested in:
