(Heb. 3:5–11, 17–19; Luke 20, 27–44) The Sadducees had an objection to the Resurrection, which seemed insoluble to them; and the Lord decided it in a few words, and moreover, so clearly that everyone understood and recognized the Sadducees as conquered by the truth of His word. What were the Sadducees then, are now unbelievers of all sorts. They have accumulated many dreamy assumptions for themselves, elevated them to irrefutable truths, and are proud of themselves, believing that there is nothing to be said against them. In fact, they are so empty that it is not worth talking against them. All their wisdom is a house of cards: blow it and it will fly apart. There is no need to refute them in parts, but it is enough to treat them the way one treats dreams. Speaking against dreams, they do not prove the inconsistency in the composition or parts of the dream, but only say: this is a dream, and thereby solve everything. This is exactly the theory of the formation of the world from foggy spots, with its supports - the theory of arbitrary generation, Darwin's origin of genera and species, and with his last dream about the origin of man. Everything is like sleepy delirium. Reading them, you walk among the shadows. What about scientists? What can you do with them? Their motto: don’t listen if you don’t like it, and don’t bother lying.
