(2 Tim. 2, 20–26; Luke 19, 37–44) The people cry out: “Hosanna!”, and the Lord cries. Doesn't something similar happen during our church celebrations? Then the appearance was solemn; but the Lord looked at what was invisible in souls and saw it worthy of crying. And with us, appearances on holidays are always festive; But is this the inner mood of everyone? Others do not understand at all the power and significance of the holidays; others sense something darkly, but see nothing clearly; and does anyone see and feel and feel worthy of the celebration? Our holidays take many victims; but how many of them are allocated to the Lord and the brethren? Either nothing, or the most insignificant little thing; everything almost takes over the womb and vanity. This cannot be hidden from the Lord, and it is not surprising if He, speaking humanly, cries when we utter solemn exclamations. Such are the redeemed, the justified, the sons of sons!.. They made a vow, accepted an obligation - to walk in the spirit and not to commit carnal lusts, but what happens to them? The sons of the Kingdom are worse than the last slaves!..
