(Rom.1, 7–12; Matt.5,42–48) “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). There is no one in the world without love: they love parents and relatives, they love benefactors and patrons. But the feeling of love for parents, relatives, patrons and benefactors is natural, and is built by itself in the heart; That is why the Lord does not give her a price. True Christian love is tested by the attitude towards enemies. Not only some slight and accidental trouble should not extinguish our love for others, but even attack and persecution, disasters and hardships deliberately inflicted by the enemy. We must not only bless these people, but also do good to them and pray for them.
