(Acts 15:5–34; John 10:17–28) “You do not believe, for you are not of My sheep” (John 10:26), says the Lord to the unbelieving Jews. “My sheep obey my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). Unbelievers are not from the flock of Christ. Then the unbelievers were those who had not yet entered the flock, but now among us the unbelievers are all those who have fallen away from the faith or fallen behind the flock of Christ. The Lord is a shepherd: all His sheep follow Him, following His teaching and fulfilling His holy commandments. Sinners are sheep who are sick and weak, but still wander along with the flock. And those who have lost faith are those who are completely behind and are thrown to be devoured by wild beasts. These are the real retards. They are not from the flock of Christ and do not listen to His voice; and He does not know them, does not know because they do not make themselves known, as the bleeding one did.
