He is safe - and there is no need to be afraid of possible everyday storms. No ordinary voyage, much less the journey of life, is complete without bad weather. But life’s adversities and storms are not scary for those who march under the cover of the saving prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.” They are not scary, as long as you don’t fall into despondency, for despondency gives rise to despair, and despair is already a mortal sin.
