Третье послание Апостола Иоанна Богослова

The Elder - Beloved Gaia, whom I truly love. Beloved! I pray that you may be healthy and prosper in everything, just as your soul prospers. I rejoiced greatly when the brethren came and declared your faithfulness, how you walk in the truth. There is no greater joy for me than to hear that my children walk in the truth. Beloved! From faith (Christ) is your work what you do for the brethren and for strangers. They testified before the church about your love, and you will do well if you let them go with dignity, according to God. They went for His name's sake, taking nothing from the pagans. We must accept such people in order to help them on our own in the cause of truth. I wrote to the church, but among them Diotrephes likes to take precedence and does not accept us. So, if I come, I will remember his deeds, what he does is he reviles us with evil words; but not only that, he himself does not accept the brethren, and forbids those who wish to accept, and expels them from the church. Beloved! do not imitate the evil, but the good. He who does good is from God; and whoever does evil has not seen God. Everyone testifies about Demetrius and the truth itself speaks for him; and we testify, and you know that our testimony is true. I had a lot to write, but I don’t want to write to you with ink and a cane, and I hope to see you soon and talk mouth to mouth. Peace be with you. Greetings from friends. Hello friends by name. Amen.
