The annual parish camp of St. Elias Church has endedtranslated

The annual parish camp of the St. Elias Church, whose history began in 2013, has ended. This year its opening coincided with the patronal feast of the Church of the Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles of Christ in the village of Luzhaika.
Most of the camp participants took part in the festive Divine Liturgy, which was led by the secretary of the Vyborg diocese, dean of the Vyborg district, Archpriest Igor Aksyonov, co-served by the rector of the church, Priest Artemy Giloyan.
The new location of the camp was the picturesque Lake Zhivitsa near the village of Luzhaika. One of the main events of the shift was the first children's Liturgy celebrated in the Church of the Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles.
The service was performed by the clergy of the St. Elias Church, Priest Anthony Bykov and Priest Alexander Moshkov. Children participating in the camp became readers, altar servers and singers. The preparation of the young singers was carried out by the regent of the St. Elias Church, Natalya Berezina, and the altar servers were familiarized with the texts of the liturgical readings in advance.
