Webinar reflects on 80 years of Bossey through theological biographies

The World Council of Churches (WCC) Ecumenical Institute at Bossey marked its 80th anniversary with a second webinar on 7 September exploring the institute’s history and continuing contribution to the ecumenical movement through the lives and theological legacies of key figures.

The webinar, “80 Years of Bossey in the Mirror of Theological Biographies,” brought together theologians representing Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Protestant, and Roman Catholic traditions. The event was the second in a series of webinars marking eight decades of Bossey’s contribution to ecumenical formation.
Presentations reflected on the lives and work of influential figures associated with Bossey, including Suzanne de Dietrich, Nikos Nissiotis, and John Mbiti.
